Year 3/7 Collaborative Learning

This term the Year 3's and 7's have been learning about the journey to Aotearoa.  

We created a waka to represent this journey.

Santa Craft

Today we made Santa's to decorate your homes.  Loads of fun with cotton balls and craft paper.

Today the children made a Christmas Tree. It is nearly finsished.

Swimming

This is our second week in the pools. Unfortunately we still have a large number of children not bringing their swimming togs. The pools are 22℃!

The Water temperature was 20℃ in the big pool and and a few degree warmer in the small pool today. Team 3 is planning to go swimming from now on.

Syndicate 2 Inquiry

For the Term 4 Inquiry all Syndicate 2 students, that is Team 3 and Team 4, are working together. In groups the students are creating a product, and advertising to go with it, for export.

Pets Day

Wow, what a day! We first made our sand landscapes. Then we had morning tea and went down to the domain and played games whilst the judges looked at our artwork and picked out the winners. After this it was time for lunch where we got time to go around the classes and look at all the amazing creations others had made. Last of all was the grand parade. The winners were announced and we got to see some pets. It was a great but tiring day :)
